Volunteer

Southlake Community Services operates diverse programs and services aimed at creating a just and inclusive community. These could not exist without volunteers dedicating valuable time and expertise. Our volunteers make a real difference to the community and we aim to provide a valuable, purposeful and volunteers. We provide an inclusive and supportive environment where people can gain skills, work to a strengths based approach, meet new people and contribute to their community.

The focus of our Volunteer Program aims to ensure that opportunities in volunteering are available for everyone. We match you to roles that align with your interests and abilities—if you’re not sure, ask us!

Everyone involved with volunteering is appropriately supported and we offer training and development opportunities within the volunteer role. We are flexible around your volunteering time.

We aim to be inclusive of everyone.

Our Centre includes: Ramp access, accessible bathroom, wide doorways, accessible car parking spaces, large computer screens, adjustable chairs, ergonomically sound work stations.

Membership

Become a member

By joining Southlake Community Services as a member you have the opportunity to participate in the governance of the organisation, and you will be invited to any special events we put on throughout the year.

New membership applications must be endorsed by two existing Southlake Community Services members and approved by the Governance Board.
